“We started using Cambridge Mercantile 6 months ago for the company’s currency sales, having previously relied on our bank and other brokers. The main selling point was access to an online system, however in practice an excellent relationship with our trader has made it more useful and appropriate to call and arrange the trade over the phone; as such the online system remains unused.
Our trader has been very pro-active in keeping in touch and keeping us informed. Despite the fact that we don’t trade very regularly, he takes time to call whenever there is a rate movement in our favour that we may want to take advantage of – this doesn’t always lead to a deal, but it is good to have a trader who is thinking about his customers.
