Bloomberg is reporting that the European Central Bank council member Guy Quaden said the bank is ``likely'' to raise interest rates again to counter inflation in the 13 nations sharing the euro. ``A new increase in our rates in the coming months is possible and even probable,'' Quaden said in an interview yesterday at the International Monetary Fund meeting in Washington. ``It's in fact the most likely scenario.'' This should put upward pressure on the Euro.
